Na-Type Adjectives
Structurally, these function like nouns. They need the particle 〜な to attach to and describe a following noun.
Most do not end in 〜い. Important exception: きれいだ.
They require 〜な before a noun (e.g., 静かな人 - Quiet person).
Examples: 静かだ (Quiet), きれいじゃない (Not beautiful), 有名だった (Famous).
